TERMS AND CONDITIONS – GARDEN FURNITURE HUB ESSEX
By using or accessing our website and/or placing an order, you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use or access our website or place any orders.
These terms apply to sales conducted in person at our showrooms, online, and over the phone with Garden Furniture Hub Essex. By making a purchase, you accept that these terms and conditions form part of the contract and override any other terms proposed by you.

1. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
1.1 Continuous Product Development:
We and our suppliers are committed to continuous improvement. Therefore, we reserve the right to amend product specifications without prior notice. This may include changes to sizes, materials, or ornamental details. For exact specifications, please contact us before purchase.
1.2 Product Variations:
The items delivered may differ slightly from those displayed or advertised. Where differences occur, they will retain equivalent value, functionality, and appearance unless otherwise agreed.
1.3 Handmade Furniture:
Our furniture is crafted with quality materials and is handmade. As such, variations in appearance, texture, and color may occur. These pieces are designed for domestic use only and include a 5-year structural guarantee. Commercial use is not recommended.
1.4 Leather Products:
Leather items are made from premium materials but may naturally vary in color and texture.
1.5 Manufacturing Defects:
Occasionally, minor defects may arise in handmade furniture. Products with manufacturing defects are covered under warranty, excluding moving parts and upholstery subject to wear and tear. Replacement parts will be provided when necessary, which may take up to 12 weeks if out of stock.
1.6 Color Representation:
We aim to display product colors accurately; however, differences in monitor settings and manufacturing batches can result in slight color variations.
1.7 Clearance and Discontinued Items:
Products in our clearance section may be sold as seconds or may display signs of wear. These are priced accordingly and sold as-is.
1.8 Home Assembly:
While most products are delivered fully assembled, some may require minimal home assembly. Items requiring assembly will be noted in the product description. Please note, our delivery team does not unpack or assemble furniture.
2. MEASUREMENTS
2.1 Approximate Dimensions:
All measurements provided are approximate due to the handmade nature of our products.
2.2 Customer Responsibility:
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that items fit through access points. A £60 restocking fee will apply if a delivery fails due to access issues.
3. PRICES
3.1 Inclusive Pricing:
All prices include VAT where applicable. Promotions are time-limited and apply only to online purchases.
3.2 Errors and Omissions:
We reserve the right to cancel orders where prices are displayed incorrectly and will offer refunds where applicable.
4. PAYMENT
4.1 Payment Methods:
We accept cash (showrooms only), credit cards, and debit cards. Full payment is required at the time of purchase.
4.2 Order Confirmation:
Orders are only confirmed once payment is received, and an email confirmation is sent.
4.3 Cancellations:
Orders canceled after an invoice has been raised will incur a 12.5% administration fee.
5. DELIVERY
5.1 Coverage:
We deliver across mainland UK. Deliveries to Scotland and Wales may incur additional charges.
5.2 Delivery Estimates:
Delivery times vary depending on location and order volume. We strive to meet estimated delivery dates but cannot guarantee them due to unforeseen circumstances.
5.3 Access Requirements:
Customers must ensure safe access for delivery. Orders undeliverable due to access issues may be canceled with a £70 redelivery fee.
5.4 Kerbside Delivery:
Delivery is typically kerbside. Drivers may assist at their discretion but are not obligated to transport items beyond this point.
5.5 Damages and Returns:
Report any delivery damages within 24 hours. Provide photographic evidence to expedite the resolution process.
6. CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS
6.1 Right to Cancel:
Customers may cancel orders within seven working days of receipt under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
6.2 Custom Orders:
Custom-made products cannot be refunded.
6.3 Faulty or Incorrect Products:
Contact us within 48 hours with details and photographs of faulty items to arrange replacements or refunds.
6.4 Change of Mind:
If you change your mind, you must arrange the return at your expense. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.
7. CUSTOMER-ORGANIZED RETURNS
Customers arranging their own returns must use insured, trackable delivery services. We are not liable for loss or damage during transit.
8. REFUNDS
Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of returned items. Refunds for damaged or incorrect goods may include delivery costs.
9. WARRANTIES
Our warranties vary by product category. Proof of purchase is required for all claims.
9.1 5-Year Structural Warranty:
This covers manufacturing defects for domestic use only. Products used commercially or sold to third parties are covered for a maximum of 1 year.
9.2 Exclusions:
- Cushions must be stored indoors when not in use.
- Glass and moving parts are not covered.
- Weather damage is excluded.
10. COMPLAINTS

We match competitor prices within 7 days of purchase if the competitor is a UK-based online retailer and the product is identical. Conditions apply, and refunds are issued as store credit.
